1. Introduction

In these Terms of Use ("Terms"), "we", "our" or "us" means the India Convention Promotion Bureau ("ICPB"), an apex non-profit body constituted under the aegis of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, to promote India as a preferred destination for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) tourism. Please read these Terms carefully, as they apply to your use of icpb.in and any microsites contained therein (the "Site"), whether as a guest, member, delegate, event organiser or industry partner. By using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms, including any revisions referred to below.

We may revise these Terms from time to time by updating this posting; the revised Terms take effect once posted. Your use of some parts of the Site — for example, membership registration, bid support requests, or event submissions — may be governed by additional terms, which will be notified to you and will prevail over these Terms to the extent of any inconsistency.

2. About this Site

The Site provides information about ICPB, its members, venues, destinations and events, and facilitates enquiries, membership applications, bid support requests and event registrations.

3. Permitted Use

You may browse the Site and use its forms for their intended purpose. You agree not to: (a) use the Site for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its underlying systems; (c) submit false, misleading or fraudulent information through any form; (d) scrape, harvest or bulk-extract content without prior written permission; or (e) upload any file containing malicious code.

4. Disclaimer

Though all efforts have been made to ensure the accuracy and currency of the content on this Site, including information relating to venues, events, member organisations and industry data, it should not be construed as a statement of fact, a warranty, or used for any legal, contractual or commercial purpose. In case of any ambiguity, users are advised to verify directly with ICPB, the Ministry of Tourism, or other relevant source(s), and to obtain appropriate professional advice before relying on any information for planning or booking purposes. The Site and its content are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

Unless expressly authorised by us or otherwise permitted by law, you must not sell, reproduce, publish, distribute, communicate to the public, modify, display, prepare derivative works from, or otherwise use any Content in any way without our prior written consent, or otherwise infringe the intellectual property rights of any person in using the Site.

You agree that ICPB owns the copyright and trade marks in its name, "India Convention Promotion Bureau", its logo and brand marks, and the domain name icpb.in (the "ICPB Trade Marks"), and reserves all rights in relation to them. All other trademarks appearing on the Site, including those of member organisations, venues, event partners and sponsors, are the property of their respective owners. Nothing on the Site transfers any intellectual property rights to you unless expressly stated. 6. User-Submitted Information

7. Third-Party Links, Downloads and Advertisements

The Site may link to third-party websites (member organisations, venues, government tourism boards, sponsors and similar). ICPB does not control, and is not responsible for the content, accuracy or privacy practices of, any linked third-party site, and inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement. We do not permit our web pages to be embedded within frames on any third-party site. Your correspondence or dealings with, or participation in promotions, bids or events run by, any member organisation, venue, sponsor or advertiser featured on the Site are solely between you and that third party; ICPB is not liable for any loss or damage arising from such dealings.

8. ICPB's Social Media Terms and Conditions

ICPB maintains social media channels as a medium of interaction among event planners, delegates, member organisations and members of the public interested in India's MICE industry. Postings to ICPB's social media pages are not representative of the opinions of ICPB, the Ministry of Tourism, or the Government of India, and ICPB does not confirm their accuracy or accept responsibility for followers' comments. We encourage free and open discussion, but posts may be removed, and users may be blocked at ICPB's discretion, if they contain: violent, obscene, hateful, derogatory or illegal content; comments that threaten or defame any person or organisation; unrelated commercial solicitations; repetitive or off-topic spam; misleading or deceptive content; or material that infringes a third party's intellectual property rights.

9. Contributing to ICPB's Social Media Profiles

ICPB does NOT claim any ownership rights in photos or videos you post on our social media platforms, or by use of any ICPB hashtags. However, by submitting such content you grant ICPB a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, revocable, non-transferable, perpetual licence to use, modify, compile and reproduce it — including as part of edited video works — without limitation, across our digital and social media channels, for the purpose of promoting India as a MICE destination and showcasing ICPB's activities and member events. Where reasonably practicable we will credit your name or organisation, and you may revoke this licence at any time by contacting ICPB and asking us to stop using your photo or video.

10. Governing Law

These Terms, and the use of the Site and any content thereof, are governed by the laws of India. By using the Site, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi, India, for the resolution of any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site. ICPB may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
